Tips on picking your Destination

I talked a little about my traveling experiences, but now I will be moving on to budget traveling tips. I have said this before and I will say it again traveling’s about taking that leap of faith and going out of your comfort zone(bubble) and explore the world.              People often ask how do I pick a destination, where can I find cheap flights, or how do I get started? Well there are many different ways to go about it but the way I like to go is making a list of things you would like to see, do, or experience on your trip. My Experiences

I had mentioned in my previous blog post that I had traveled in and outside the country. Well, I have been to 8 different states in America and 3 different states in Mexico. I’ve lived most my life in the U.S and found that trips in America are more expensive than Mexico. In America your money does not always last as long as you want it to when on a trip. When I was in Mexico my money lasted me a lot longer than I expected because things were cheaper than usual. The last time I went $1 dollar equaled $20 pesos which made traveling and food so much cheaper. I bought 5 tacos and a Coca Cola for $40 pesos which is $2 dollars making my meal extremely cheap. On my trip money was not an issue that by the end of the trip I had left over money.     ...

How to boost Travel Experience

Ever wonder why some people say some trips were more exciting than others? Well a big factor is attitude! I have traveled not only inside the country but also outside the country and have learned through out personal trips that having a better attitude will help boost your experience. There has been occasions on trips that being open minded/friendly have helped make things cheaper. You ask how? Well, there are always locals out there that are willing to help out and give a tourist/traveler a good experience. While meeting these locals and being open minded can help you discover secret destination that are not always promoted on a map. I also know that some locals will be willing to show you around or in some occasions invite you for lunch or dinner saving you money.
