Tourist Land Mark List

After picking your destination, booking your hotel and purchasing your plane ticket you have one more step to do that will make your trip experience better. You ask, what is the next step? Well, you need to make some kind of list of different tourist destinations near your area. This will help stay organized and know what destination you want to visit the most. Having this list handy while viewing the different tourist land marks can help because you could ask locals or others around you of what they recommend from your list. They can also give you a new tourist land mark name that you can write down, so you can know to visit it later.

Plane Tickets

After picking your destination and housing for your trip you will also need a plane ticket.  Where do you find plane tickets? Who sells the cheapest plane tickets? Well, there are many different online websites that you can look for plane tickets. My personal favorite is Kayak.com because it is simple and easy to use for all users. It not only gives you cheap tickets, but it also gives you an estimate on when it recommends to buy plane tickets to make it affordable. Kayak also has the option of comparing prices with multiple other websites to give you the best deal. This is a great tool that can be very helpful when searching for the cheapest deal. If you are a student and traveling kayak gives discounts making it affordable for students. I have used this site many times and it is my go to for any cheap plane tickets when I travel.

Cheap Housing Option

On my last post I talked about finding your ideal destination and some online tools you can use to help you. Well, today I will be talking about how to find cheap housing places to stay for your trip. After picking your destination you have to look for a place to stay but hotels can be expensive and cheaper hotels aren't always the best. Luckily I have a great website that helps resolve those problems and it is called Airbnb. It is a website that helps find cheap places to stay at for your trip and gives you the ability to pick the kind of housing you want to stay at. There are many different options that can fit your budget but overall you can find extremely cheap prices.

Tips on picking your Destination

I talked a little about my traveling experiences, but now I will be moving on to budget traveling tips. I have said this before and I will say it again traveling’s about taking that leap of faith and going out of your comfort zone(bubble) and explore the world.              People often ask how do I pick a destination, where can I find cheap flights, or how do I get started? Well there are many different ways to go about it but the way I like to go is making a list of things you would like to see, do, or experience on your trip. After making the list simply type in good some of the things you are looking for in a destination and it will bring up some destination ideas. There is also the option of using a booking site called Kayak that always you to explore different destinations. On the website where it has the tabs for flights, cars, hotels, and more, click on more, scroll down and click explore. This will bring up a map of different...

My Experiences

I had mentioned in my previous blog post that I had traveled in and outside the country. Well, I have been to 8 different states in America and 3 different states in Mexico. I’ve lived most my life in the U.S and found that trips in America are more expensive than Mexico. In America your money does not always last as long as you want it to when on a trip. On my last trip in Denver, CO I had to limit myself to what I buy and the cost of food. This made the trip a bit frustrating since money was an issue and didn’t allow me to do the things I would have liked to do. When I was in Mexico my money lasted me a lot longer than I expected because things were cheaper than usual. The last time I went $1 dollar equaled $20 pesos which made traveling and food so much cheaper. I bought 5 tacos and a Coca Cola for $40 pesos which is $2 dollars making my meal extremely cheap. On my trip money was not an issue that by the end of the trip I had left over money.     ...

How to boost Travel Experience

Ever wonder why some people say some trips were more exciting than others? Well a big factor is attitude! I have traveled not only inside the country but also outside the country and have learned through out personal trips that having a better attitude will help boost your experience. There has been occasions on trips that being open minded/friendly have helped make things cheaper. You ask how? Well, there are always locals out there that are willing to help out and give a tourist/traveler a good experience. While meeting these locals and being open minded can help you discover secret destination that are not always promoted on a map. I also know that some locals will be willing to show you around or in some occasions invite you for lunch or dinner saving you money.
